Archa Rewards Terms and Conditions
Dictionary
1.1 Definitions
In these Reward Terms and Conditions:
Accountholder means the person in whose name a card account is kept and who is responsible for all transactions on the Card Account.
AFT means account funding transaction initiated by an enabled merchant or other person to debit an Archa Card to transfer funds to a further nominated account or digital wallet.
Archa App means the Archa mobile application (as supplemented by access to the Website, where required).
Archa Rewards Program means the rewards program offered by Archa to Accountholders which is governed by these Reward Terms and Conditions.
Archa Points means points added to or subtracted from a Points Record in accordance with these Reward Terms and Conditions.
Archa Point Bonus Program has the meaning set out in clause 2.5 and Schedule 1.
Business Day means a weekday excluding public holidays observed on a national basis.
Card means each Archa business credit card issued by Archa to a Cardholder nominated by the Accountholder.
Card Account means the account which Archa sets up in the name of the Accountholder.
Cardholder means each person or entity to which a Card has been issued at the request of the Accountholder. For the avoidance of doubt:
- this may include Cards issued in the Accountholder’s name; and
- the term ‘Cardholder’ includes persons that have the express or implied authority to use a Cardholder’s Card.
Delinquent means when a Card Account is overdue and interest payments or fees are payable on outstanding amounts or is otherwise in default in accordance with the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms and Conditions.
Eligible Purchase has the meaning as set out in clause 2.2.
Government Charges includes, but is not limited to, payment for goods, services, charges and/or levies made to a local, state, or federal government or statutory authorities or related agencies (and includes Australian and overseas governments).
OTP Code means a randomly generated code Archa sends by short messaging service (SMS) to a Cardholder’s mobile phone or sends to a Cardholder’s nominated email address to perform certain transactions or use certain functions in the Archa App.
Points Record means the record of the Archa Points You accrue in relation Your Card Account.
Redemption Partner means external entities or businesses affiliated with Us, where Accountholders may be permitted to redeem their Archa Points for points or rewards with that Redemption Partner, as updated from time to time. These partners may include airlines, hotels, retailers, online platforms, or other vendors.
Reward Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions of the Archa Rewards Program as set out in this document.
Website means www.archa.com.au.
We, Us, Our or Archa means Archa Limited ACN 614 724 355 and its successors and assigns.
You and Your means the Accountholder.
1.2 Interpretation
In these Reward Terms and Conditions, the following rules of interpretation apply unless the contrary intention appears:
(a) headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Reward Terms and Conditions;
(b) the singular includes the plural and vice versa;
(c) where a word or phrase is given a particular meaning, other parts of speech and grammatical forms of that word or phrase have corresponding meanings;
(d) the words 'such as', 'including', 'particularly' and similar expressions are not used as, nor are intended to be, interpreted as words of limitation;
(e) a reference to:
- a person includes a natural person, partnership, joint venture, government agency, association, corporation or other body corporate;
- a thing (including, but not limited to, a chose in action or other right) includes a part of that thing;
- a party includes its successors and permitted assigns;
- a document includes all amendments or supplements to that document;
- a clause, term, party, schedule or attachment is a reference to a clause or term of, or party, schedule or attachment to these Reward Terms and Conditions;
- an agreement other than these Reward Terms and Conditions includes an undertaking, or legally enforceable arrangement or understanding, whether or not in writing; and
- a monetary amount is in Australian dollars (AUD).
(f) an agreement on the part of two or more persons binds them jointly and severally;
(g) when the day on which something must be done is not a Business Day, that thing must be done on the following Business Day;
(h) in determining the time of day, where relevant to these Reward Terms and Conditions, the relevant time of day is:
- for the purposes of giving or receiving notices, the time of day where a party receiving a notice is located; or
- for any other purpose under these Reward Terms and Conditions, the time of day in the place where the party required to perform an obligation is located; and
(i) no rule of construction applies to the disadvantage of a party because that party was responsible for the preparation of this agreement or any part of it.
1. General
1.1 Activation and Eligibility
(a) Thank you for activating Your Card Account and signing up for the Archa Rewards Program. The Archa Rewards Program is operated by Archa Limited ACN 614 724 355. Please read these Reward Terms and Conditions carefully as they apply to Your participation in the Archa Rewards Program.
(b) By clicking ‘I Accept’ on these Reward Terms and Conditions, You accept these Reward Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them (including any notice provided to You from time to time).
(c) To be eligible to participate in the Archa Rewards Program, You must be an Accountholder within in the region where the Archa Rewards Program is available.
(d) If You do not accept these Reward Terms and Conditions, You are not permitted to participate in the Archa Rewards Program. If your Card Account is Delinquent, you will be ineligible for the Archa Rewards Program and not be permitted to sign up to these Rewards Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Additional terms and conditions
(a) These Reward Terms and Conditions operate in addition to the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms and Conditions and the Archa App Terms.
(b) We may revise these Reward Terms and Conditions from time to time. Where possible, we will provide you with reasonable notice of any changes through your account and via email and we will publish the revised version on the Archa Website. If you do not wish to continue to participate in the Archa Reward Program following any change to these Reward Terms and Conditions, you can terminate your participation in accordance with clause 5 below.
(c) Where You access the Website to use any Archa Rewards Program functions, You must comply with the associated Website Terms of Use. By accessing, viewing, relying on or otherwise using the Website, You accept the associated Website Terms of Use (if any) and agree to be bound by them.
1.3 General
(a) You may request further details about the Archa Rewards Program by visiting Our Website, emailing help@archa.com.au or calling Our customer service line on (03) 7034 6935.
(b) We will provide You with any necessary notice or update in relation to the Archa Rewards Program by way of email to Your last recorded email address registered with Us.
(c) You can keep a track of Your Points Record on Our Website.
(d) Any tax liability, stamp or other duty or other Government Charge or reporting requirement in connection with or on any benefit derived by You from the use of a Card by You or an additional Cardholder or receipt of an Archa Point is Your sole responsibility.
2. Archa Points
2.1 Earning and accruing Archa Points
(a) You will earn one Archa Point for every dollar You spend with Your Card on Eligible Purchases.
(b) Archa Points earned from Eligible Purchases by a Cardholder will only accrue on the Accountholder’s Points Record once the Eligible Purchase has been paid by the Accountholder. Archa Points are earned, accrued and stored on an Accountholder’s Card Account and are not held or owned by anyone in their capacity as a Cardholder.
(c) Archa Points will accrue to the Accountholder’s Points Record within 5 Business Days of Archa receiving payment for the Eligible Purchase on the Card Account by the Accountholder.
2.2 Eligible Purchases
(a) An Eligible Purchase means any purchase using Your Card, except in the following instances:
- payments when Your Card Account is Delinquent or suspended;
- payments for interest or bank charges;
- payments through the BPAY Electronic Payments Scheme;
- payments on Government Charges or payments made to the Australian Taxation Office;
- payments for Card Account adjustments resulting from disputed transactions or otherwise;
- balance transfers, cash transfers or AFTs;
- payment in return for foreign exchange;
- payments for Card insurance premiums;
- payments made for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
- any credits to Your Card Account, e.g. cash backs;
- payments made to You or Cardholder;
- payments that are not made for business purposes, failed payments, cancelled payments, disputed payments, subsequently refunded payments or recalled payments;
- payments for purchases which are identified to Us by the relevant merchant or any intermediary financial institution as falling into one of these categories;
- where We reasonably determine, in Our sole discretion, that a payment or transaction falls within these categories or is otherwise not an Eligible Purchase.
(b) You will not earn Archa Points if Your Card Account is suspended or any Cardholder breaches the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms and Conditions, the Archa App Terms and Conditions or these Reward Terms and Conditions.
(c) When You obtain a refund, a reimbursement for charges previously incurred (for example for returned merchandise) or a chargeback is made to Your card account, this will cause Archa Points to be deducted from Your Points Record.
2.3 Archa Points generally
(a) Archa Points may not be transferred or sold, unless permitted or authorised by Us in Our reasonable discretion.
(b) Archa Points:
- are not property;
- have no monetary value;
- cannot be redeemed for cash;
- cannot be pooled with other Accountholders; and
- can only be redeemed in accordance with clause 3 of these Reward Terms and Conditions.
(c) There will be no refunds for Archa Points that are not redeemed, expire or are cancelled.
(d) Archa Points will ordinarily expire within 24 months of 31 December of the year in which the Archa Point was added to Your Points Record. Archa Points that remain unused after they have expired will be cancelled.
(e) In the event Your Card Account is closed due to being Delinquent, Your Archa Points will be cancelled and You will not be able to redeem them. In the event Your Card Account is closed for any other reason, any Archa Points that remain unredeemed must be redeemed within 30 days of the date of closure. Archa Points that remain unredeemed after that period will be cancelled.
(f) We may cancel Archa Points if you breach these Rewards Terms and Conditions.
2.4 Limits
(a) We may, acting reasonably and with reasonable prior notice to you, impose limits, controls or rules on the amount of Archa Points You may earn or accrue each period and may, by reasonable notice to You withdraw, limit, modify, cancel or increase the continued availability of any Archa Point or the redemption terms with any of our Redemption Partners.
2.5 Archa Point Bonus Programs
(a) From time to time, We may introduce and/or offer Archa Point Bonus Programs to You. The operation of Archa Point Bonus Programs will be subject to the terms and conditions of each Archa Point Bonus Program annexed to these Rewards Terms and Conditions and will apply in addition to these Reward Terms and Conditions.
3. Redemption
3.1 General
(a) Only You as the Accountholder may redeem Archa Points. Cardholders may not redeem Archa Points unless they are also the Accountholder.
(b) Your entitlement to redeem Archa Points is based on the Points Record of Your Card Account. If Your Card or Card Account is suspended or is Delinquent, no Archa Points will be redeemable.

3.2 Redeeming Archa Points with Redemption Partner
(a) From time to time, You may be permitted to redeem Your Archa Points with Our Redemption Partners. Our Redemption Partners offer a range of products or benefits that You may access through redemption of Your Archa Points.
(b) Redeeming Archa Points with Redemption Partners is subject to, and governed by, the terms and conditions of each of Our Redemption Partners. To redeem Your Archa Points with Our Redemption Partners, You must follow the prompts on Our Website and otherwise comply with the terms and conditions of Our Redemption Partners.
(c) We have no obligation to provide offers, benefits or dealings from any of Our Redemption Partners or engage any specific or additional Redemption Partners at any time. We have no obligation to provide access to, or permit, redemption of Archa Points with Redemption Partners and the selection of Redemption Partners will be in Our sole discretion.
(d) You acknowledge that Your redemption of Your Archa Points may be subject to redemption limits, controls or rules, imposed by Our Redemption Partners from time to time.
4. Liability
(a) Except as provided in any law which cannot lawfully be excluded or modified by agreement, we:
- make no warranties or representations either express or implied and expressly disclaim any and all liabilities (including for consequential damages) with respect to type, quality, standard or fitness or suitability for any purpose of the Archa Rewards Program or Archa Points;
- are not responsible for the loss, theft or destruction of Archa Points;
- do not accept any liability with respect to any loss arising from the supply of, access to or redemption of Archa Points with Our Redemption Partners;
- are not liable or responsible for the acts or omissions of Our Redemption Partners; and
- are not liable for any delay or inability to provide any Archa Points or access to redemption of Archa Points with Our Redemption Partners caused by circumstances beyond Our control including technical faults or delays, strikes, industrial disputes or acts of God.
5. Termination
(a) You may terminate or cancel Your participation in the Archa Rewards Program at any time by providing Us with written notice by emailing help@archa.com.au or calling Our customer service line on (03) 7034 6935.
(b) We may terminate the Archa Rewards Program at any time, in which case, We will notify You of termination.
(c) If You terminate Your participation in the Archa Rewards Program, or if the Archa Rewards Program is otherwise terminated, You must redeem any of Your Archa Points within 30 days of the date of termination.
(d) If You or any Cardholder breaches the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms and Conditions, the Archa App Terms and Conditions or these Reward Terms and Conditions, We may suspend, terminate or exclude Your participation in the Archa Rewards Program.
(e) If we cancel or suspend Your Card or Your Card Account pursuant to the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms, we may cancel Your Archa Points without notice.
6. Disputes
(a) Any questions or disputes must be brought to Our attention within 12 months of the incident or event first giving rise to the question or dispute. We will investigate any enquiries raised and advise You of the outcome of any investigation within a reasonable time.
(b) You may submit a question or dispute by emailing Us at help@archa.com.au or calling Us on (03) 7034 6935. Where relevant, please provide Us with a legible copy of a relevant sales receipt or Card Account statement.
(c) If you are not satisfied with Our response to Your question or dispute, You may access Our complaints handling procedure, which is set out in the Archa Business Credit Card Facility Terms.
*Velocity Business Archa Partner Terms & Conditions: Archa Sign Up Offer Terms and
Conditions
New Archa customers will receive a bonus of up to 250,000 Velocity Points for their business if they:
(i) successfully apply and are approved for an Archa Business Credit Card on a Professional or Custom plan (for the avoidance of doubt, Essentials plans are not eligible for sign-up bonus points); and
(ii) link a valid Velocity Points earning business account (Velocity Business) to their Archa Rewards account on or before the conclusion of your fourth Archa statement cycle, (Sign Up Offer).
The number of Velocity Points that may be earned under this Sign Up offer is based on the number of Archa Points that are earned and transferred to the linked Velocity Business account. Accrual of Archa Points is subject to the Archa Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
Approval for an Archa Business Credit Card provides the account holder with the option to issue company cards in accordance with the Archa Credit Card Facility Terms which will be sent directly to the account holder upon approval. The number of Archa Points that may be earned under this Sign-Up Offer is calculated according to the average number of eligible Archa Business Credit Cards (Average Eligible Cards) issued by an accountholder to its team members.
Average Eligible Cards is calculated as the number of Active Cards on issue at the end of each billing period, averaged over the first three billing periods of an accountholder’s tenure as an Archa customer. An Active Card is a card that has been activated and made an Eligible Purchase during a billing period. For the purpose of calculating Archa Points under the Sign-Up Offer, Average Eligible Cards are rounded up to the nearest whole number.
Archa Points issued under the Sign-Up Offer are calculated as follows:
0 – 5 Average Eligible Cards will receive 100,000 Archa Rewards points (equivalent to 50,000 Velocity Points when transferred to a linked Velocity Business Account)
6 – 10 Average Eligible Cards will receive 200,000 Archa Rewards points (equivalent to 100,000 Velocity Points when transferred to a linked Velocity Business Account)
11 – 19 Average Eligible Cards will receive 300,000 Archa Rewards points (equivalent to 150,000 Velocity Points when transferred to a linked Velocity Business Account)
20+ Average Eligible Cards will receive 500,000 Archa Rewards points (equivalent to 250,000 Velocity Points when transferred to a linked Velocity Business Account).
#Archa Partner Terms and Conditions
Earn 1 Velocity Point for your business for every 2 Archa Rewards points transferred to your Velocity Business account. The total Points awarded is calculated by applying the Velocity Points earn rate to the number of Archa Rewards points by increments of 2. For example, 1000 Archa Rewards points would earn 500 Velocity Points. The minimum number of Archa Rewards points that can be transferred to your Velocity Business account is 2. Fractions of Velocity Points will not be allocated. Fractions of Archa Points cannot be transferred.
Velocity Points will be awarded to the nominated Velocity Business account, which is linked to the relevant Archa Rewards account at the time of the relevant earn activity. Velocity Points will be allocated to the member’s account within 30 business days of completing the relevant earn activity, unless otherwise stated in connection with a specific campaign. Velocity Points are not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
To transfer your Archa points to Velocity Points, you must be a current Velocity Business member and have linked your business’ Archa Rewards account and Velocity Business account. Membership and Points earn are subject to the Velocity Business and Velocity Frequent Flyer membership Terms and Conditions, and any changes to the Member benefits and features, including Points earn with Archa, will be governed by those Terms and Conditions. Velocity collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and Velocity Business collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The Archa Business Credit Card is issued offered, issued and administered by Archa Limited ACN 614 724 355, in accordance with the Archa Credit Card Facility Terms which will be sent directly to the account holder upon approval. The Archa Rewards loyalty program is subject to the Archa Rewards Program Terms and Conditions . Archa collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
If you link your Velocity Business membership to your Archa Rewards account, Archa may share some of your personal information with Velocity Business. Velocity Business and Archa may use your personal information for purposes related to your linked accounts, including to: (a) confirm that you are a Velocity Business member; (b) link your accounts, and (c) allow you to access details about your Velocity Business account, such as your ABN, from within your Archa
Rewards account.
You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time through your profile in your Archa account settings, or by contacting Archa customer support directly.
